Most photographers try to capture the beauty of the subject. Oregon nature photographer Kerry Thalmann takes it one step further and captures the beauty of the moment. You know you have a great nature photographer when they bear the outdoor elements waiting for that perfect light moment, like a tiger ready to pounce on their prey. Unlike many photographers, Kerry uses four by five camera gear requiring him to be a little more selective in what he photographs.
Kerry Thalmann has an outstanding collection of images from our U.S. National Parks, and the Pacific Northwest. You'll see a combination from dramatic lighting to soft lighting. To think that all this talent developed because his parents took him on summer vacations to places like Grand Tetons, Yellowstone and Colorado Rockies.
