Best USA has a new
owner

With any new owner comes changes. After 2 months of negotiations we decided to acquire the Best USA sites, of which Best USA Photographers is included. This happened on December 26, 2009. It is early for us to announce our plans or our identity. While we feel that the plans that Mr. Tomaras set up are brilliant and ahead of their time, we are not prepared to go forward with them at this short notice.
Rest assured to current members and current customers, we will maintain the high standards that Mr. Tomaras set. It was obvious from the statistics before we started negotiations that customers appreciated the concept. Best USA Photographers maintained a 26 minute average time on site for a six month average when the norm is less than 3 minutes. Their average number of pages visited was 21.1 as opposed to the average of 2.4. The Best USA Photographers bounce rate for six months was 20.8 where the industry average is 54.5. From these stats we know that Mr. Tomaras was on the right track - without a doubt he lead the photo industry in relevance. Today that is what the internet is all about. We will maintain Mr. Tomaras as a consultant.
There were a lot more factors that lead us to our decision and to Mr. Tomaras' decision. While you have seen many changes on the internet in the last couple years, you have only seen the tip of the iceberg. In the next two years you will see significant changes in the way people do business on the internet. We plan to help both consumers and businesses follow those trends.
